Parents Association AGM.
The AGM of the Parents Association took place in the school on Thursday October 20th at 8.30pm. A number of issues were discussed and a statement of accounts was presented to the meeting. New officers were elected as follows:
Chairperson : John Halligan
Secretary : Bernie Groarke
Treasurer : Margaret Dunleavy
The meeting thanked the outgoing officers of the Association for their commitment and hard work. A programme of talks on Drugs Awareness has been organised for parents beginning on Monday October 24th at 7.30pm and running for four sessions.
As many parents as possible are encouraged to attend the meetings of the Parents Association as this is the forum whereby parents may have a voice and contribute to policy formation within the school.
